Mamacita says: Mmmmm, Nick Drake. He was so ethereally cool. “I Was Made To Love Magic” is my favorite of his beautiful songs. I couldn’t find HIS video of it, but this one is pretty nice. He was also gorgeous.
I believe that all of us were made to love magic, and when we don’t, we’ve deliberately made a most unfortunate choice that lessens us as creative beings.
Speaking of magic, though. . . .
As a little child, I saw fairies everywhere, and I taught my children to be likewise. Thanks to Disney, children everywhere are able to SEE fairies. From Fantasia’s ice and flower fairies to Tinker Bell, there were fairies at last.
Tinker Bell. Dirty, unkempt, heartbroken Tink. Low, vulgar, sculleried Tink. I’ll love you forever, Tink.
From Tinker Bell, I learned so many things, not the least of which was the perfect thing to say to anyone who annoyed me. She was magic. She IS magic. Tinker Bell.
I’m going to feature my favorite Tinker Bell quotation in the next Quotation Saturday. After all, she’s just as important as any other dignitary worth quoting.
Mine is:
“You know that place between sleep and awake, the place where you can still remember dreaming? That’s where I’ll always love you, Peter Pan. That’s where I’ll be waiting.”

I second that motion!
Have you seen the movie “August Rush”. I think you’d like it.

All I have to do is read your blog every day and I am either smarter, happier, nicer, or indignant along with you.
I know people ask you this all the time but wont you PLEASE write a book?
