I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.

Pilot, do you read me?

I read you, loud and clear.

Blogs make people talk like military people with a mike or radio.

“Did you read Jeff today?  I read him, and he was great.”

“It’s so nice to finally meet you; I read you regularly.”

“I’ll be there in a minute; I’m reading Jim.”

“Do you ever read me?”
“Yes, I read you on a daily basis.”

It gives the expression “I can read him like a book” a whole new perspective, because, with bloggers, we really do.

Do you read me?

Over and out.

P.S.  This will never grow old:

Roger Murdock: Flight 2-0-9’er, you are cleared for take-off.
Captain Oveur: Roger!
Roger Murdock: Huh?
Tower voice:
L.A. departure frequency, 123 point 9’er.
Captain Oveur: Roger!
Roger Murdock: Huh?
Victor Basta: Request vector, over.
Captain Oveur: What?
Tower voice: Flight 2-0-9’er cleared for vector 324.
Roger Murdock: We have clearance, Clarence.
Captain Oveur: Roger, Roger. What’s our vector, Victor?
Tower voice: Tower’s radio clearance, over!
Captain Oveur: That’s Clarence Oveur. Over.
Tower voice: Over.
Captain Oveur: Roger.
Roger Murdock: Huh?
Tower voice: Roger, over!
Roger Murdock: What?
Captain Oveur: Huh?
Victor Basta: Who?

(It’s the 1980 version of ‘Who’s On First.’)
